Construction begins on new National Exhibition Center

The design of the new National Exhibition Center

The center, covering an area of 90hectares, is located in Dong Anh District, just 15km from the capital center and near the Noi Bai International Airport.

This is one of the capital region’s 10 key projects figured out in the region’s master planning scheme with an aim to create a fresh momentum for the development of the localities on the Northern bank of the Red river.

The new center is designed to become a “city of exhibition” of international standards that includes outdoor and indoor exhibition, trade promotion, conference sections, hotels, as well as entertainment areas, incorporated in a lively and supporting complex.

Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony, Chairman of the Ha Noi Municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung underlined that this project will meet exhibition demands at both national and international levels.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2018./.
