The top Vietnamese leader acknowledged the contributions of Danish businesses and organizations through investment and development projects that have delivered tangible benefits to people and supported the sustainable development of both countries.

Over more than half a century, Viet Nam-Denmark relations have continued to deepen in tandem with the development of both countries and in response to changing global circumstances. The Danish Royal Family, including Queen Margrethe II and King Frederik X, has played an important role in key milestones in bilateral ties, he noted.

"55 years ago, Denmark was among the first Western countries to establish diplomatic relations with Viet Nam. Today, Denmark has once again become the first country in the Nordic region to establish a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Viet Nam," To Lam emphasized.

Speaking at the concert, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung recalled that Denmark established diplomatic relations with Viet Nam on November 25, 1971, amid the fierce years of war. As one of the first Western countries to take this step, Denmark laid the foundation for a sincere and enduring friendship built on trust, solidarity and profound humanitarian values./.
