“Clean up the world 2013” to go to Lam Dong

This is the first time a big event on natural resources and environment protection has been organised in the locality in particular and the Central Highlands in general.

During the event, a community-based environmental campaign will be launched nationwide to raise public awareness of natural resources and environmental protection.

Via the event, Lam Dong province hopes to advertize its unique natural resources and abundant eco-diversity and develop tourism.

Initiated by Australia in 1993 and launched globally by the United Nations Environment Program in the 3rd week of September every year, the event brings together businesses, communities, schools, individuals and nations throughout the world to join hands in improving and protecting the environment.

Planting trees, natural resources recovery, community education, competitions and exhibitions on the environment, along with collecting, processing and recycling waste will be held all over the world./.
