The visit will be made at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart Pham Minh Chinh, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This year marks the 56th anniversary of the establishment of Viet Nam-Cambodia diplomatic relations, which have been driven by the mutual desire to further advance the bilateral ties under the mantra of "good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term stability".
Viet Nam is now Cambodia's third-largest trade partner and second-largest export market.
The two-way trade between Viet Nam and Cambodia reached US$4.77 billion in the first nine months of 2023, a year-on-year increase of 3 per cent.
Cambodia's exports to Viet Nam rose 30.7 percent to US$2 billion in the reviewed period while its imports from Viet Nam stood at US$2.736 billion, down 11 per cent, according to the Cambodian Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Trade exchanges between the two countries have grown strongly over the years, reaching more than US$10.57 billion last year, up nearly 11 percent compared to 2021.
With regard to investment, currently Viet Nam has 205 valid investment projects in Cambodia with a total registered capital of US$2.94 billion, ranking first in ASEAN and in the top 5 foreign investors in the country.
