Business assistance project launched
VGP - The Việt Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the British Embassy, the Swedish Embassy, the Transparency International (TI) and the International Leaders Forum launched on January 27 in Hà Nội a project to improve integrity and transparency in business relations.
Mr.
Nguyễn Quang Vinh from VCCI said the project aims at encouraging the Vietnamese
business community to jointly strive for a better business environment,
enhancing consistence in anti-corruption activities, and building up standards
and frameworks for corporate responsibility.

The
project’s initial capital is estimated at US $600,000, half coming from the two
foreign embassies, he said.
According
to Swedish Ambassador Rolf Bergman, the project is an important channel to
connect enterprises and Vietnamese ministries in a transparent business
environment here.
