In the coming days, doctors at the Cho Ray Hospital, where the patient is being treated, will continue using antibiotics to cure his infections caused by Burkholderia Cepacia, said Khue.
The patient will also continue undergoing physical therapy to recover his muscle and respiratory functions, Khe added.

The British man was confirmed positive for COVID-19 on March 18 after visiting the Buddha Bar in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 2. He was admitted to the HCMC Hospital for Tropical Diseases the same day but his health suddenly got worse and doctors had to put him on the ECMO since April 6.
As of 9 am on June 4, Viet Nam confirmed 328 COVID-19 patients, of whom 302 have been cleared of the virus, said the National Steering Committee.
