A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on environment and sustainable development cooperation is signed between the Vietnamese Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and Morocco’s Ministry of Energy, Mine and Sustainable Development |
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Minister of Energy, Mine and Sustainable Development Aziz Rabbah said that thanks to the MoU, the two nations will join hand in struggling against climate change and boosting sustainable development.
Vietnamese Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha expressed his hope that the two sides will make stable and fast progress in cooperation in natural resource, environment and sustainable development.
The same day, The Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade and Morocco’s Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy inked an MoU on the establishment of the Sub-Committee for cooperation in commerce and industry (SCCCI).
The SCCCI aims to strengthen the cooperation in commerce and industry on the basis of mutual fairness and interest, in line with regulations of MoUs, laws, regulations and policies of each side.
The same occasion, representatives of the two ministries signed an MoU on cooperation.
Accordingly, the two sides will exchange information on business opportunities between the two countries, especially such items as coffee, peppercorn, olive, seafood, garments, footwear, fiber, mobile phones, computers and coal.
They agreed to set up a Viet Nam-Morocco working group on cooperation in commerce and industry to address related issues to bilateral cooperation in this field as well as consider and propose strategies to enhance commerce and industry ties.
The same occasion, leaders of Da Nang City and Tangier inked a MoU on the establishment of friendship relations and cooperation between the two cities.
