Belgian man among 67 new COVID-19 cases

VGP - The Ministry of Health confirmed 67 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday morning, raising the national patient tally to 4,579.

The latest patients include a 41-year old Belgian man who flew to Viet Nam on May 15 from Qatar.

The others are residents of Ho Chi Minh City (one), Lang Son (three), Bac Ninh (26), Bac Giang (20), Ha Noi (nine), Hai Duong  (three), Ha Noi-based Cancer Hospital (one), Dien Bien (one), Thai Binh (one), and Vinh Phuc (one).

Viet Nam’s caseload includes 3,108 domestic cases and 1,471 imported cases, according to the ministry.

Among the domestic cases, 1,538 have been recorded in 28 out of 63 cities and provinces nationwide since April 27 when the fourth wave of local transmissions broke out.
