The above figure accounts for nearly 35 percent of the locality’s total lychee output as of June 3. The rest have been consumed domestically.
According to a report by the provincial People’s Committee, the total lychee farming area is estimated at 28,100 hectares this year, with the output expected to hit 180,000 tons.
The area of lychees grown under VietGAP standards stands at over 15,200 hectares, alongside 82 hectares following GlobalGAP standards.
