DAP provides grants for small-scale development projects, about $10,000 each with a view to addressing humanitarian hardship and advancing developmental outcomes for disadvantaged communities.

The deadline to apply for the program is October 10 and DAP guidelines and application form are available at www.hcmc.vietnam.embassy.gov.au.

In the 2014-2015 fiscal year, DAP is a part of the Australian Government’s larger non-refundable aid programme in Viet Nam,  which will provide about AUD 141.3 million ($131.3 million).

The programme provided AUD130, 000 to 11 projects in the fields of health care, education and small-scale infrastructure projects in the 2013-2014 fiscal year.
