The EU-Asia Higher Education Platform (EAHEP) is sponsored by the European Union (EU) and run by three European higher education organizations, namely the European University Association (EUA), German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education (Nuffic).
The platform provides seminars and in-depth discussions on applying various models of management as well as specific educational topics, such as decentralizing tertiary education mechanism in term of system and organization, role of stakeholders in the decision making at universities, and management of higher education.
With the aim of exchanging information on Asian and European tertiary education systems and sharing good examples and experience, the platform also brings about chances to enhance cooperation between Asian and European tertiary education organizations.
EAHEP is part of the Asia Link set up by the EU in order to promote cooperation in higher education between the EU and Asian developing countries.
