Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh leads a high-ranking delegation to these summits at the invitation of Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen.
Pham is accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung, Deputy Minister of National Defense Vu Hai San, Deputy Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy, Deputy Minister of Finance Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Le Cong Thanh.
On Thursday, ASEAN leaders are set to call on Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni, attend a dialogue with representatives of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, ASEAN Youth and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council.
The 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits will take place on November 11, followed by a range of summits between leaders of ASEAN and the bloc's partners.
Prime Minister Pham paid an official visit to Cambodia from November 8-9, during which he held talks with Prime Minister Hun Sen, paid Royal Audiences to His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, and Her Majesty Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk; paid courtesy calls on Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei Say Chhum, President of the Senate, and Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly; received a courtesy call from Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An, President of the Cambodia - Viet Nam Friendship Association.
The Prime Minister laid wreaths and paid homage at the Independence Monument, the Monument of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk "Preah Borom Ratanak Kaudh", the late King Father of Cambodia, and the Cambodia – Viet Nam Friendship Monument as well as visited a number of Vietnamese business establishments in Cambodia.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Samdech Techo Prime Minister Hun Sen also attended and delivered keynote speeches at the Cambodia - Viet Nam Forum on Trade and Investment Promotion 2022./.
