Anniversary of enthronement of Morocco King and Viet Nam - Morocco diplomatic ties celebrated

Addressing the ceremony, Moroccan Ambassador to Viet Nam Jamale Chouaibi emphasized that, under the wise leadership of King Mohammed VI, Morocco had obtained essential achievements in many fields, contributing to the development and prosperity of the country.

He welcomed the positive and continuous development of political, economic, and social cooperation between Morocco and Viet Nam in recent years.

The diplomat affirmed that Morocco always attaches great importance to and prioritizes promoting cooperation with ASEAN member states, especially with Viet Nam.

On behalf of the Vietnamese government and people, Deputy Foreign Minister Ha Kim Ngoc sent his warmest congratulations to all Moroccan friends on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the enthronement of King Mohammed VI and the 62nd anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Morocco.

He stated that the 56th ASEAN Foreign Ministers Meeting held last month agreed in principle to Morocco's proposal to become a sectoral dialogue partner of ASEAN.

Notably, Viet Nam and ASEAN members expect Morocco's cooperation with ASEAN in the future to be promoted on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, respecting international law and actively contributing to joint efforts in addressing global challenges.

With the great potential, the political determination of the senior leaders, and the support of the people of the two countries, the multifaceted cooperation relationship between Viet Nam and Morocco will be continuously consolidated and developed in the future for the development of each country and for peace and stability in the two regions./.
