Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau receives Belgian order

VGP - The Belgian Embassy in Ha Noi has awarded Belgium’s honorary royal medal, first class, to former Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium Pham Sanh Chau for his significant contributions to enhancing the two countries’ friendship and cooperation.

At the ceremony, Belgian Ambassador Bruno Angelet hailed Chau’s efforts to promote Viet Nam-Belgium ties in politics, economics, culture, education, and community work during his tenure in Belgium from 2011 to 2014.

 

Currently, Mr. Chau, who is Head of the External Relations Culture Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed his belief that Viet Nam-Belgium multifaceted cooperation will grow and contribute to peace, prosperity, and cooperation around the world.

 

Nearly 150 guests, including ambassadors in Ha Noi and representatives from ministries, sectors and localities with cooperative ties to Belgium, participated in the award ceremony.
