Additional 50 Vietnamese citizens in Israel evacuated to Egypt
VGP - A group of nearly 50 Vietnamese nationals has been evacuated from Israel to Egypt, according to Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Nguyen Huy Dung.
The evacuation costs are covered by the state budget.
Some of them have returned to Viet Nam while the remaining individuals will be brought home as soon as they complete all necessary procedures.
After receiving information about Vietnamese citizens stranded in the conflict zone, the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel actively and closely coordinated with the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt to implement necessary consular protection measures. These efforts aimed to ensure the security and safety of Vietnamese citizens in dangerous zones.

The President of the Vietnamese Association in Israel Truong Thi Hong stated that among the 700 Vietnamese citizens living, working, and studying in Israel, no casualties have been reported so far.
Earlier, 18 Vietnamese citizens living and working in Iran were evacuated to a third country amidst the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel./.
