Additional 3,342 new COVID-19 cases confirmed

VGP - The Ministry of Health reported 3,342 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, raising the national caseload to 11,396,205.

The number of daily new COVID-19 cases from March 1-August 25, 2022

The same day, 12,747 patients were declared free of the virus, taking the total number of recoveries at 10,116,927.

The ministry also announced further two fatalities, bringing the nation's COVID-19 death toll to 43,110 or 0.4 percent of the national caseload.

The nation has administered  254,635,420 COVID-19 vaccine doses so far./.
