3,092 new COVID-19 cases added to national tally

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 3,092 new COVID-19 cases over the last 24 hours, raising the national patient tally to 853,842.

The number of daily COVID-19 cases from October 1-14

The latest patients consist of four imported cases and 3,088 domestic infections in 42 cities and provinces, namely Ho Chi Minh City (909), Dong Nai (647), Binh Duong (483), Tay Ninh (274), An Giang (104), Kien Giang (80), Tien Giang (72), Binh Thuan (61), Long An (59), Dong Thap (49), Dak Lak (44), Hau Giang (36), Khanh Hoa (35), Lam Dong (28), Tra Vinh (21), Can Tho (20), Quang Nam (17), Ha Nam (15), Vinh Long (14), Dak Nong (12), Ben Tre (12), Ba Ria – Vung Tau (11), Binh Phuoc (10), Quang Ngai (10), Binh Dinh (8 ), Lao Cai (7), Quang Binh (7), Nghe An (7), Ninh Thuan (6), Thanh Hoa (6), Bac Lieu (6), Bac Ninh (4), Thua Thien-Hue (3), Phu Yen (2), Ha Tinh (2), Ha Noi (1), Da Nang (1), Thai Binh (1), Hai Phong (1), Vinh Phuc (1), Phu Tho (1), and Kon Tum (1).

The same day, the ministry reported 719 new recoveries, taking the total number of recovered cases to 788,005, representing nearly 93 percent of the national caseload.

The ministry also announced further 81 fatalities in Ho Chi Minh City (61), Binh Duong (10), Long An (3), Dong Thap (1), An Giang (1), Khanh Hoa (1), Dak Lak (1), Bac Lieu (1), Kien Giang (1), and Soc Trang (1), bringing the death toll to 20,950, accounting for 2.4 percent of the total infections./.
