13th Party Central Committee covenes 10th plenum

During the meeting, the Party Central Committee will discuss the implementation of the Resolution adopted at the 13^th National Party Congress, draft socio-economic development plan for 2025, and documents and personnel work for the 14^th National Party Congress.

In his opening remarks, General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized that successful implementation of the 13^th National Party Congress' Resolution must be the top task of the whole Party, people and army in 2025, thus creating foundation for achieving the strategic goals by 2030 when the country marks the 100^th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and by 2045 when the country marks the 100^th founding anniversary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

These goals must be realized with the highest determination, greatest efforts, drastic actions and effective solutions, the top Vietnamese leader stressed.

Regarding documents to be submitted to the 14^th National Party Congress, To urged the members of the Party Central Committee to focus on deliberating the 40-year reform, political, socio-economic development, party building reports.

He called on the Party Central Committee to discuss strategic breathroughs for the next five years, which may include institutional building, personnel work innovation, development of new production forces, strategic infrastructure development.
