Gov’t leaders receive Iranian and Swiss Ambassadors

PM Dũng appreciated Ambassador Seyed Javad Ghavam Shahidi for his contributions during his mission in Việt Nam and hoped that the Iranian diplomat would continue to reinforce the two countries’ ties.

The Vietnamese Government chief proposed the two sides early set up a joint working group to resolve obstacles they will meet and boost economic, trade and investment linkages.

Ambassador Seyed Javad Ghavam Shahidi thanked the Vietnamese Government, ministries and agencies for asisting him in fulfilling his assigned tasks in Việt Nam.

The Iranian diplomat promised to make more positive contributions to enhancing the fine bilateral ties.

The same day, Deputy PM Nguyễn Thiện Nhân warmly welcomed Swiss Ambassador to Việt Nam Andrej Motyl in a meeting during which they reviewed bilateral cooperation and exchange ways to spur friendship in the coming time.

According to Ambassador Andreij Motyl, Switzerland hopes to develop the relations with Việt Nam comprehensively to tap vast available potentials in markets and human resources.

Mr.  Andreij Motyl said he believes that the two countries will seize possible opportunities to boost their cooperation for mutual benefits./.
