Bình Thuận launches green tram line

VGP – The Suối Cát Tourist Co. Ltd on June 21 put into operation of a battery-powered tram line for tourists to Phan Thiết City, Bình Thuận Province.

According to Ms. Phạm Thị Thanh Hiền, Marketing Chief of Suối Cát Tourist, the trams, the first of its kind in the province, will make tourists more comfortable when exploring Phan Thiết City.

Besides, the battery-powered trams are friendly with the environment with no exhaust fumes.

At present, nine 12-seated trams transport tourists from the Posahnư Tower to the Red Hill. Ticket price ranges from VND 10,000 to 30,000 depending on travel distance.
