In his opening remarks, PM Phuc, who is head of the National Committee for e-Government Development, said e-Government has been a solution for preventing spread of the new coronavirus (Covid-19) as many schools and organizations have organized online classes and e-transactions respectively.

The conference aims to work out the best practices as well as ways to further improve solutions for practical e-Government development in the time ahead, Phuc said.

He especially urged the participants to frankly point out obstacles in e-Government development.

According to a report prepared by the National Committee for e-Government Development, ministries, agencies and localities have doubled the number of public services at level 4 while competent agencies have put into operation the National E-document Exchange Platform and the National Public Service Portal.
