Congratulations to RoK’s Prime Minister
VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on May 20 sent a message of congratulations to Han Duck-soo upon his appointment as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea (RoK).

Han Duck-soo takes office as the 48th Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea
The RoK's National Assembly confirmed the candidacy of Han Duck-soo for the post of Prime Minister on May 20.
In a vote held on the evening of the same day with 250 lawmakers in attendance, 208 voted for Han. With a majority of the vote, Han will take office as the 48th Prime Minister of the RoK.
Viet Nam and the RoK officially established diplomatic ties in December, 1992. The two nations upgraded their relations into Strategic Cooperative Partnership in October, 2009.
This year, both sides are expected organize activities to celebrate the 30th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties.
