16 patients cleared of COVID-19, total increases to 144

VGP – The Ministry of Health announced Friday morning that 16 patients have been cleared of COVID-19, raising total number of recovered patients to 144.

Two patients released from Ho Chi Minh City’s Cu Chi field hospital this morning

Patient 25 is a 50-year old British woman, hospitalized on March 3.

Patient 86 is a 54-year old woman residing Phuong Mai Ward, Dong Da District, Ha Noi, hospitalized on March 20.

Patient 94 is a 64-year old woman from Bac Giang city of the northern province of Bac Giang.

Patient 148 is a 58-year old French man.

Patient 194 is a 42-year old woman residing in Phuong Mai Ward, Dong Da District, Ha Noi, hospitalized on March 30.

Patient 202 is a 57-year old woman from My Duc District, Ha Noi, hospitalized on March 29.

She is a staff working at Bach Mai Hospital’s Canteen.

Patient 205 is a 37-year old man from Yen Dinh District of the northern province of Thanh Hoa, hospitalized on March 31.

She is also a staff working at Bach Mai Hospital’s Canteen.

Patient 237 is a 64-year old man from Sweden, hospitalized on April 3.

Patient 249 is a 55-year old man from Yen Thanh District of Nghe An Province, hospitalized on March 23.

The above patients were released from the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

Patient 74 is a 23 year old man, hospitalized on March 18.

He was discharged from the General Hospital in the northern province of Bac Ninh.

Patient 204 is a 10-year old boy, hospitalized on March 18.

He exited Children’s Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.

Patient 135 is a 27-year old woman, hospitalized on March 25.

She was released from a hospital in the central city of Da Nang.

Patient 36 is a 64-year old woman and Patient 44 is a 11-year old boy, hospitalized on March 11.

They were discharged from the General Hospital in the central province of Binh Thuan.

Patient 157 is a 31-year old British woman, hospitalized on March 26 and Patient 171 is a 19-year old Vietnamese woman, hospitalized on March 28.

They were released from Ho Chi Minh City’s Cu Chi field hospital.

All of the above patients shall be medically monitored for the next 14 days as currently regulated.

So far, Viet Nam has confirmed 255 COVID-19 infection cases, including 158 returning/coming from foreign countries, accounting for 62.2%.

The nation has also quarantined 74,941, including 720 at hospitals, 24,329 at centralized camps and 49,892 at places of residence.
